The Heart of the Matter
Inside, it’s all about a halogen infrared lamp. This thing is a powerhouse in a small package, designed to pack a serious amount of heat into a tight space. Most setups run at 2500W on 400V, all coming from a tube that’s just 300mm long. That’s a lot of power in a small footprint. It’s why this heater warms up so quickly and holds a steady temperature. But, and this is important, that kind of power means you need to make sure your electrical setup and the mounting spot can handle the heat. The 300mm length wasn’t an accident. It’s the sweet spot. Long enough to spread warmth over a good area, but short enough to fit in snug spots without putting too much stress on the lamp.
Built to Last
We went with halogen technology for a reason. Running the filament hotter keeps the quartz tube clean. That means no premature dimming and a longer life for the lamp. The quartz tube itself is tough. It handles high heat and doesn’t crack under the pressure of turning on and off over and over again. And for the connection, we use an R7s connector. It’s a standard, sturdy, bi-pin setup that locks in place and safely handles the current. This makes swapping out the lamp a simple, drop-in job.
