Power, Voltage, and Size: The Practical Details
Here’s the thing—when the task is tough, the power has to be, too. We spec these heaters at high wattages, often 2500W, so you get the heat density that tough jobs demand. And we run them at 400V. Why does that matter? It keeps the current draw reasonable, so you don’t end up wrestling with oversized wiring or stressing the contacts in your control panel. The tube length is 300mm. It’s that sweet spot: long enough to spread the heat evenly, but short enough to drop into tight machine cavities without a fight.
What It’s Made Of: Quartz, Halogen, and a Smart Connection
The quartz envelope takes the heat—no problem—and handles rapid cycling without cracking under thermal shock. So you can turn it on, turn it off, and keep moving. Inside, the tube is filled with halogen gas. That keeps the filament stable and stops the tube from blackening over time, so performance stays consistent. We pair the tube with an R7s connector, because installation should be simple. No tools. Just align and seat it. And the internal filament is built to handle repeated start-stop cycles without burning out.
