The Power, Voltage, and Size, Plain and Simple
It runs on 400V, which keeps the current down on the line side. That means you can use a smaller wire gauge over distance, which is a nice relief when you’re running lines. At 2500W, you get a lot of heat packed into a short body—about 300mm long. This is the sweet spot when you need big thermal output in a cramped machine bay. Just keep in mind: that concentrated heat means your control panel and cooling need to be up to the task. Plan accordingly.
What It’s Made Of: Quartz, Coating, and a Solid Connection
The heating element is a quartz tube with a halogen fill. It warms up fast and holds steady, even when it’s switched on and off a lot. The tube has a coating that helps manage infrared and keeps the element protected from whatever the environment throws at it. And the R7s base? It’s an industrial workhorse.
