Basically, we filter out the blinding visible light and the UV stuff. What you get is a “soft light” feel. You still get all that cozy warmth on your skin, but your eyes aren’t taking a beating. On the hardware side, we keep things steady. We use low-voltage or stabilized 220V circuits because nobody likes a flickering light when they’re trying to relax. We also stick with high-purity quartz glass. It handles the heat better, meaning the tube won’t just crack the moment it warms up. One quick tip on installation: watch your spacing. These lamps put out a lot of concentrated heat. If you mount them too low, you might actually scorch your walls or ceiling. Just make sure your housing can handle the wattage so you don’t end up melting your plastic fixtures. Since bathrooms are basically steam rooms, we wrap everything in waterproof housing. We use tight seals to keep moisture away from the electrical parts. It’s a simple move, but it keeps the units from burning out way too early. Now, here’s the trade-off. Because we’re filtering the light to keep things safe, these don’t heat up quite as instantly as those industrial-grade lamps you’d see in a factory. It takes a few extra seconds to feel the warmth.
